About the Organization

The clinic is located in central Trollhättan, and here you will be offered an exciting and challenging assignment.

You will be part of our team of 18 people. The team consists of doctors, medical secretaries, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers.

We have a close collaboration with two additional psychiatric clinics located in the same building, NP-LARO where the Mobile Team is included, as well as the Psychosis-Bipolar Clinic. Together, we are a large team with different specializations under one roof, and we have a good work community. We consider competence supply to be mutually beneficial, as we believe that the desire to contribute to the development of the organization increases when one feels inspired in their daily work.

Description

Our clinic is the base of the specialist psychiatric services where the goal is to provide good care based on science and proven experience, including assessment, investigation, treatment, and rehabilitation. The target group is individuals who need psychiatric specialist care for, for example, severe anxiety disorders, serious depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, complex trauma, or severe personality disorders.

About the Position

As a social worker with us, you contribute to seeing the patient from a holistic perspective by highlighting issues about the network and the psychosocial situation, as well as informing about societal resources. You will work with:

• Complementing medical treatment with psychosocial interventions, such as contact with relatives and other important people in the patient's network outside of psychiatry.
• Providing information about other community functions and support outside of psychiatry, both to patients and relatives as well as to other colleagues in the team.
• Considering the child perspective
• Collaborating with healthcare neighbors and other authorities regarding the team's patients.
• If necessary, concretely assisting the patient regarding issues related to housing situation, education, finances, community support, etc.
• Educational group treatments
• Basic investigations
• Rehabilitation coordination

Qualifications

Degree in Social Work. It is advantageous if you are a licensed healthcare social worker. You are welcome to have training in CBT.

The assignment also requires that you have good communication skills both verbally and in writing, can work independently and in a team, are flexible, patient-focused, and that you act professionally and have a good attitude towards patients and colleagues.
